Villanova has been appointed as communications director while Gonzalez will serve as human resources (HR) director.
Gonzalez, who has a master’s degree from the Military Institute of Engineering, will lead a department that will manage, besides contractors, about 4,000 employees by 2016. Gonzalez has worked for Shell for 19 years as Brazil and Latin America HR director.
Villanova worked for 14 years at Itamaraty as press officer of the Brazilian embassy in Washington, and he also served as press assistant secretary of the Presidency of the Republic.
