The International Football Development Expo 2012 will take place at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Confirmed speakers for the event include Robin Russell of Sports Path International, former Liverpool and Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier, Willi Hink of the German Football Federation, Piet Hubers of the Dutch Football Federation and the Football Association's Mick Baikke.
Les Reed, the executive director of Southampton FC, South Africa football specialist Chris Fortuin and Piara Power, chief executive of FARE Network - one of the leading individuals advocating social inclusion and the issue of why racism is still an issue in global football - will also speak at the event. The International Football Development Expo 2012 is scheduled to be a part of the Amsterdam 2012 Event, the world's largest sports exhibition and conference event in 2012.
Developing football talent, the legacy of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the youth programme at FC Barcelona, social inclusion in football and racism in football are among the issues set to be discussed at the event.
