General secretary of the Dutch Football Association (KNVB), Harry Been, will deliver the opening address and welcome, while FIFA has also been confirmed to make a presentation. The German Football Association (DFB), KNVB, the English Football Association (FA) and Danish FA have also been confirmed as speakers, along with FARE (Fight Against Racism in Europe) and Sportspath International.
Representatives from South Africa, India, Russia, Qatar and the United States have already confirmed their presence at the Conference which has seen invites extended to all 208 national associations in addition to 745 professional clubs. The Football Development Expo is one of six conferences and six exhibitions at the Amsterdam 2012 Event, which will be held from December 12-13. Poised to become the largest global sports conference, exhibition and networking event in 2012, 42 leading sports industry professionals have already confirmed their participation as speakers, in addition to 19 media partners.
